Data we process
- Your email address and name if you subscribe to the newsletter or write to us.
- Technical data in server logs: IP address, browser, pages requested, referrer, time.
- Cookie data only as described in our Cookie Policy.
Purposes and legal bases
- Sending the newsletter, based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Answering enquiries and correction requests (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
- Running the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Analytics and advertising only with consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG).
Recipients
We do not sell personal data. Hosting and email providers and, with consent, analytics providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
Transfers to the United States
Our company is based in the United States. Transfers are made under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified, or under EU standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).
Retention
Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe, correspondence for up to three years and server logs for up to 30 days.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and you can withdraw consent at any time. You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including to know, delete and correct personal information; we do not sell personal information.
