Editorial standards
The rules every Lindenpost story has to meet.
Last updated: 30 September 2026
Sources
The editorial team relies on verifiable information from government agencies, research institutions, associations, and established media outlets. Every source used is directly cited in the respective article and linked whenever possible. Unconfirmed rumors or anonymous tips are not included in our reporting.
Verification
Before an article is published, all stated facts, dates, and names are cross-referenced with the original reports. In the event of contradictory information, the editorial team consults additional official or scientific sources. Reports without a verified information basis are not published.
Corrections
Factual errors are corrected in the text promptly upon discovery. The editorial team objectively notes the reason for and timing of the change at the end of the article. Routine spelling and grammar corrections are made directly in the document without a separate note.
Independence
Brightmoor Media LLC maintains the portal's editorial independence. Commercial partnerships or external funders have no influence on topic selection or editorial presentation. Paid content is visually distinguished from editorial content.
Images
Photos used in articles serve as objective illustrations of the subject matter described. Stock photos and reenactments are explicitly labeled in the captions or metadata. The editorial team respects copyrights as well as the personal rights of depicted individuals.
Use of AI Tools
Software assists in drafting text and creating illustrations. An editor cross-checks every report with the sources prior to publication. Editorial responsibility for all published content rests with humans.
What we do not cover
We do not report on party politics, elections, armed conflict, crime or court cases. Our focus is culture, leisure, science, nature and sport.
